About Us
My Name is Mirvensia Jeitsa Joseph I am 22 years and currently I am a Pre-dental Student. I created L’ODEUR Parfaite from a place of personal pain and deep healing. The name L’ODEUR Parfaite means “The Perfect Scent” in French. French is my second language a language I grew up speaking alongside Haitian Creole. This gives me a courage to embrace who I am.
I move from Haiti to the U.S when I was 14 years old. Growing I use to get bully by classmate, a random person or something friends, and it deeply affected my confidence. But there was always one thing people always said to me:
“You always smell good.” That small phrase stayed with me t It reminded me that even in the middle of rejection and pain, there was still something good, something I could hold on to.
It was part of me. It helped me realize: This is me. And I needed to spend time learning who that person really was and begin embracing her. As I grew in faith and identity, I knew I wanted to turn scent into a safe space for others a reminder of who they are.
This business is not just about candles. It’s about collecting everything I went through, everything I survived, and turning it into something that can heal, uplift, and bring light to others. This brand is a symbol of motivation, self-worth and confidence (when you see us, our logo should remind you of my testimony if God did it for me, he can do it for you as well.)
A quick reminder that no matter what the world says, you are loved and valuable. Through faith in Jesus Christ all things are possible, if God place it in your heart, it is already you.
The word Parfaite in my business for me represents:
I am perfect just the way I am.
